Chefs on Challenge aims to provide a challenging and innovative culinary experience, adding an exciting touch to the World Youth Day in Lisbon. It is present at Praça dos Restauradores until August 6, from 10:00h to 00:00h.

The concept of "gastronomy in motion" has joined this event, and the participating Chefs have presented their unique and flavorful creations during Pope Francis's visit to the Portuguese capital. The main objective of Chefs Inga Martin (Go A Lisboa), João Francisco Duarte (Soão – Taberna Asiática), and Agne Dedé (Café Dede’s) is to impress the audience with their creative proposals.

Chef Inga Martin showcased her creativity resulting in a vegan Hummus Focaccia with lettuce, red cabbage, tomato, and roasted zucchini, available throughout the event, and a special dish, Pulled Pork Brioche with Coleslaw, on 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August.

Chef João Francisco Duarte offered a Tuna Caco with Lime and Togarashi mayonnaise, available on 5th and 6th of August, starting from 16:00h.

Lastly, Chef Agne Dedé presented a Katso Sandwich (Chicken Brioche with Sriracha mayonnaise) for the early days of the World Youth Day.

In addition to the delightful gastronomic proposals, pilgrims can encounter the Chefs themselves at the venue, making the experience even more special.
